Each of GUSTAVE et cie's collections pays tribute to a Frenchman who marked his time. Our Louis watch is a tribute to the Sun King, but also a nod to Louis XVI, a watchmaking enthusiast.
The Louis collection consists of 6 models with 3 case finishes (Silver, Gold, Rose Gold) each of which is available in two dial colors (blue background or white background). Milanese bands in metal or genuine leather are the perfect final touch.

Symbolized on the dial by triangles, the 4 elements are an integral part of our time markers and our evolution. Each in its place on the dial punctuates the hours to which the minutes are subtly integrated, all forming a radiant sun.
In the center, a raised flower of life testifies to the philosophical approach of the Louis watch. True matrix of creation, this flower is a geometric figure based on the golden ratio, which gives it an aesthetic and perfect balance.

GUSTAVE & cie watches have only one hand which indicates the hours and minutes simultaneously. As on a traditional watch, the hand of our 12-hour collections circles the dial twice during the day.
Each index of our Louis represents 5 minutes.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Delivery in 48-72 hours is offered in France with no minimum purchase. For European residents, standard delivery via Colissimo is €4,90 (delivery is free for purchases of €500+). Internationally, standard delivery via Chronopost is €9,90. For abroad it varies according to the delivery address from 2 to 10 days.
Our batteries have an average life of approximately 2 years. You can have the battery changed at any jeweller/watchmaker.
For GUSTAVE et cie, there is no "ideal" watch size. Nevertheless, if your wrist measures less than 15cm, it is strongly recommended to go for a 36mm case. Conversely, if your wrist measures more than 18cm, we recommend a 40mm case.
