Timothée Barbier and Guillaume Rémond met in Dijon, on the benches of the University of Burgundy. Very quickly, they discovered two common passions, design and a certain vision of watchmaking.

Their brand, they will call it Gustave & Cie. A nod to Gustave Eiffel, originally from Dijon, for whom they have great admiration

Remember their bow ties, precisely in metal… nothing insignificant in all that. But very quickly, their desire to create an authentic French watch brand will take over, with the single-hand principle as a major component.

"Adopt a more serene view of time with our Mono-Hand watches"

GUSTAVE & cie is a French watchmaker. It offers a more zen vision of time with its Mono-Aiguille watches available in 24H or 12H. The hand indicates the hours and minutes simultaneously.

These urban watches, innovative and timeless, are intended for women and men who wish to distinguish themselves. Each of these watches, designed and assembled in France, is an invitation to travel, reflection and distinction.

A commitment to eco-responsibility

The design of the dials, the choice of materials, colors and mechanism are made in Paris.
The boxes are entirely assembled in France, in Besançon. The mechanism is Swiss or Japanese depending on the model and always selected for its quality.
As for the final assembly, case/bracelet, it is ensured by the GUSTAVE et cie team at the same time as the quality control. The brand remains faithful to its French supplier for the final touch: the packaging.
