Like the previous ones, this collection pays tribute to an illustrious Frenchman. It is important for us to honor the personalities of our country in order to fully claim our values and our know-how: watches designed and assembled in France.
The “Jules” collection is an ode to Jules Verne, a French writer passionate about navigation, author of many adventure novels such as “Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea”. For this collection, the marine theme is therefore central, but the watch is suitable for all adventurers, on land and at sea.

GUSTAVE & cie is proud to present its first automatic watch. The cogs of the movement visible on the back reveal its harmony and complexity.
The watch is fitted with a 2431 movement with a 31-hour power reserve. It is manufactured by a Russian watch company specializing in 24-hour movements: Vostok. Its 32 Jewels make the mechanism more fluid by limiting friction, thus making the watch more durable and robust.

- The internal bezel, adjustable with a dedicated crown, allows you to be on time in two time zones of the globe simultaneously.
- The 20 ATM water resistance (200 meters) has been designed for your daily life but also to accompany you at sea.
- The watch's compass feature lets you get your bearings instantly. All you have to do is point the watch hand in the direction of the sun, North will be indicated by the "N" on the dial.

Our team drew its inspiration from the prows of old sailing ships to give the case its characteristic beveled profile. In its extension, the horns act as figureheads. They have been perforated to give the case a greater lightness and finesse. The choice of the adjustable GMT internal bezel and the North position are reminiscent of the old magnetic navigation compasses. As for the dial, its indexes are clearly inspired by the rays of a ship's helm while the domed sapphire crystal suggests the curvature of our dear planet Earth.

Today we live in frenzy and constant movement. We run, we rush in all directions in a legitimate stress, since our watches impose us too short days of twelve hours. GUSTAVE & cie offers a more zen vision of time with its “Jules” single-hand watch, equipped with a 24-hour dial.
On the dial, the time is broken down into 15-minute graduations, which gives a feeling of lightness and serenity.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Delivery in 48-72 hours is offered in France with no minimum purchase. For European residents, standard delivery via Colissimo is €4,90 (delivery is free for purchases of €500+). Internationally, standard delivery via Chronopost is €9,90. For abroad it varies according to the delivery address from 2 to 10 days.
We deliver worldwide but shipping costs are not offered for foreign countries. The price and delivery time will be calculated according to the delivery address.
Thanks to the lug system, you can change bands in less than ten seconds without tools. Be careful to put the part of the band with the buckle at the top of the watch at 12 o'clock.
Designed and assembled in France
The design of the dials, the choice of materials, colors, and mechanism, is made in Dijon.
The boxes are entirely assembled in France, in Besançon. As for the final assembly, case/band, it is carried out by the GUSTAVE & cie team at the same time as quality control.

The bands of the "Jules" watch are made in France in our workshops in Besançon. Do you prefer a vegetable leather band or a “Seaqual” canvas band, made from recycled plastics, collected from the seas and oceans?
A rubber tropic band is provided to accompany you during your nautical activities. All our bands are available in several colors.
Packaging
Each watch will be anchored in a case in shades of blue, thus recalling the variety of colors that the sea offers us.
Accompanied by a certificate of authenticity, each watch will be carefully checked before being boxed.
